This is the moment a five-feet-long cobra is found in a school bag.

As the staff of a school in India inspect the bag, belonging to a student, it drops to the ground and slithers away.

The shocking incident occurred in Taran Taran, Punjab, India on October 30.

A seventh standard student of MPS Public School opened her bag in the classroom and spotted a snake inside. She closed the bag immediately and alerted her teacher.

Though sceptical, the teacher informed the support staff, who took the bag outside the school and checked it. To their shock, an adult cobra dropped out and slithered away.

The girl’s parents were summoned and they told the school management that they have no idea how the snake got inside the bag.
