Around 215 crocodiles have been discovered in the reservoirs of the sanctuary in central India's Madhya Pradesh on March 5. The survey took place in the Nauradehi Wildlife Sanctuary.

Visuals show a survey being conducted in the wildlife sanctuary in broad daylight. Therefore, the visitors spot a pond surrounded by a few trees amid a forest cover. A couple of crocodiles relax on the bank of the water while birds chirp in the background. Unbothered by its surroundings, the reptile continues resting on the ground.

The Nauradehi Wildlife Sanctuary has been inhabited by crocodiles after tigers and leopards. In the first survey, around 215 crocodiles were discovered in the reservoirs. However, their number was expected to increase, and to make it more habitable, officials are putting sand on the banks of the waterbody.

The survey was conducted five days, from March 1 to March 5, in 14 reservoirs of the sanctuary. A team of 20 people was formed to make the survey report. They kept a check on the reptiles through a telescope and were quite satisfied by the growth of the crocodiles in the region. A large number of these creatures were discovered in the first-ever survey of its kind in the state.
