Footage shows a brave trucker dragging away a huge python that was blocking the road in central Thailand.

The reptile had emerged from nearby woodland and stretched itself across the dirt road being used by construction vehicles in Nakhon Pathom province on March 20.

Kind drivers stopped to move the 10ft-long python away from danger in case it was hit by one of the heavy vehicles.

Worker Kittisak said: "I didn’t want to touch the snake but somebody volunteered to take it away. They dragged it by the tail so it could not bite them."
