Despite the challenging times in the country, illegal trading has emerged as one of the biggest problems in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on June 30. The incident took place in Rajahmundry in East Godavari district.

Visuals feature the officials pouring the illicit alcohol into a muddy pit in broad daylight while the other officers stand in the vicinity to behold the occurrence. In the meantime, they keep tossing away the liquor from the containers inside the ditch while the liquid keeps floating on the surface.

The Rajahmundry Urban Police District officials destroyed 54,204 litres of illegal alcohol seized in 1784 cases from 2020 to 2021. Moreover, Superintendent of central excise Mr. R.K. Prasad, Assistant Superintendent of central excise Mr. Y. Rambabu, Urban District police officers, Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) officers, and several other staff members were present during the incident.
