Several workers at an Amazon facility in Bikaner, India, managed to fend off a group of robbers armed with bats and powder.

CCTV footage shows the workers using their bare hands and plastic chairs to prevent the thieves from looting the store.

According to reports, the criminals made off with $6,630 and one worker was taken to hospital for treatment.

Five robbers armed with sticks broke into an Amazon facility but met with unexpected resistance. A worker fought with them using bare hands and also a plastic chair. But he was unable to stop them from looting five lakh rupees ((US $ 6,630)). The incident is from Sunday (December 5) evening at the Amazon courier office in Gangashahar area of Bikaner in the State Rajasthan. Police Superintendent Yogesh Yadav said the office was located in the interior and the deserted area made it easy for the robbers. He expressed confidence that the miscreants would be caught. The worker who fought hack was slightly injured and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
