A trailer truck miraculously regained control as it came just inches from slamming into an SUV parked on the roadside.

The 10-wheeler was travelling on a highway during a rain downpour when it skidded across the slippery wet road in Pathum Thani province, Thailand on February 10.

It then lost control and was heading towards a vehicle and a shop before the driver somehow regained control and managed to avoid an accident.

The relieved shop owner Mae Nok said she could not believe how fortunate they were as they were all inside the establishment during the near miss.

Mae said: 'The SUV must have had some kind of magic protection. We were all spared because the truck did not hit us. Please be careful; in driving during bad weather.'

No one was reported hurt in the incident while the truck continued travelling.
