Heroic motorists rescued people trapped in a luxury car after it had a collision and burst into flames in southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Guigang in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on July 28 shows passing motorists breaking a Lexus ES open to save three people trapped inside.

In another clip, a man in a black shirt climbed into the car after the back windscreen was hit to open. But later he climbed out himself and said: "He is dead. He cannot leave (the car)."

The fire and smoke then started to come out of the car and engulfed it at the end.

Two people were rescued successfully and sent to hospital for treatment. The other person was killed.

According to reports, the Lexus ES crashed head-on into a Lynk & Co 03+.

广西贵港交警29日发布情况通报称，7月28日中午12时许，G7212泉南高速12支线北海往柳州方向143Km+200m（贵港市港南区东津镇棉塘村路段），发生一起单方交通事故，致1人死亡2人受伤。事故发生后，贵港市公安局交通警察支队高速公路管理一大队迅速到达现场开展事故处理和伤员救助工作，2名伤员已及时送医救治，无生命危险。经初步调查：朱某某驾驶桂A号牌小型普通客车与该路段的道路中间波形护栏、限高架水泥墩发生碰撞，造成车上乘客陈某某死亡、彭某某受轻微伤， 朱某某受轻微伤。目前事故原因正在进一步调查中。（视频由广西台提供）
