Female police officer saves life of passenger at railway station in western India

In a show of valiance, a female police officer was seen saving the life of a passenger at a railway station in western India's Gujarat.

The incident took place in Vadodara Junction railway station city on June 9.

As per reports, train number 19217 Saurashtra Janta express was leaving platform number 6 at Vadodara station, where a woman was trying to board the moving train by holding the handles of the train. Unfortunately, her leg slipped and she was about to fall in the gap between the door and the platform.

But in the meantime, female police constable Anju Yadav who was present at the platform showed alertness and rushed to the spot and pulled the woman from falling and got her back on the platform and saved her life. While the passenger was saved without any injuries, the constable did sustain a few injuries.

After the incident, head constable Kiran Patel sent a signal to on duty guard R.S Joshi to stop the train after which the woman boarded the train and continued the journey.

The courage and valiance of the female officer was applauded and the entire incident was recorded on the CCTV camera.
