A 7-foot-long cobra was pulled out of the ground by a braver animal rescuer in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

This incident happened around an old marble shop in Badora, Betul district on February 18.

Visuals showed the men working to dig out the ground and rescue the snake. An elderly man used a shovel to dig part of the ground before another, younger man, took up the work.

He carefully dug out a hole in the ground and later, the elderly man also used a long stick to remove a massive tile inside the shop. A hole was made inside the ground and out came the snake, hissing and ready to strike.

A man tried to pull it out of the hole but the snake retaliated. He then used a snake catcher to drag it out before capturing the reptile by its tail and attempting to tame it.

According to a report, these men were from the helpline where a phone call was made informing them about the presence of this snake. The men arrived and took the snake away and released it into the forest.
