Soldier catches python dangling from roof
Soldiers pulled a python that was dangling from the beams of the roof in Thailand.
Footage shows the officers standing on a table while reaching for the serpent with a stick in Bangkok, Thailand on September 1.
The young man in uniform held it by its tail and dragged it down before it tried to lunge at him. He was unhurt, and the snake was later released.
The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
