Chills down our spine, but warmth in our hearts—that’s how it felt watching the dramatic rescue unfold at Twin Harbors Marina on February 23rd. What could have been a tragic day turned into a powerful display of teamwork and heroism, thanks to the swift action and coordination of first responders.

Kathleen and Scott, the couple at the center of the emergency, have publicly extended their heartfelt gratitude to every individual involved. Corporal Bilter, Corporal Keller, Officer Sattler, Firefighter Paramedic Murray, and Police Communications Operators Yvette Lipscomb and Meghan Alder all played vital roles in the life-saving response. The calm and efficient handling of the 911 call, along with precise action on the ground, ensured a safe and successful outcome.
