Howard County, Maryland Officer Rescues Fawn From Window Well
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — A Howard County police officer stepped up for an unexpected rescue after discovering a fawn trapped in a window well.
The department shared the moment on Facebook, calling it one of those “other duties as assigned” situations. The video shows the officer carefully lifting the young deer from the deep well and safely releasing it nearby.
The department did not report any injuries to the animal, and the fawn quickly scampered off after being freed.
“See how it ended!” the post teased, celebrating the happy outcome.
