RICARDO ROJAS, Argentina — A head-on collision between two vehicles in the locality of Ricardo Rojas was captured by cameras from the Centro de Operaciones Tigre (COT), following a prohibited maneuver by one of the drivers.

The accident occurred at night on Avellaneda Street, where one driver attempted an illegal left turn onto Marcos Sastre Street. The vehicle collided head-on with an oncoming car traveling in the opposite direction. COT agents patrolling the area spotted the crash and immediately activated the emergency response protocol.

Personnel from Tigre’s Emergency System (SET) and traffic officers quickly responded to the scene to provide medical care and manage the situation. Alcohol tests on both drivers came back negative, and one individual was transported to Don Torcuato’s Immediate Diagnosis Hospital for further evaluation.

The Municipality of Tigre operates more than 130 patrol vehicles, enabling rapid responses to emergencies detected via its surveillance system.
