Deputy Races Track-Star Wife in Lighthearted Foot Pursuit Video
ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. — In a playful take on the viral foot pursuit challenge, the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office shared a video of Deputy Alex Kitch racing his wife—who just so happens to be a former track athlete.
The department said it took some time to find the right matchup: a willing deputy and a spouse with competitive spirit and a real shot at winning. The lighthearted video, posted on social media, was part of the agency’s community engagement efforts and “giving the people what they want.”
The department thanked both participants for their good humor and added that more fun content may be on the way.
