A motorcycle rider sparked outrage after stopping at a petrol station to clean his pet dog - with a POWER WASHER.

The man was seen pulling onto the forecourt with the pooch resting in the footwell of the moped in Taipei, Taiwan, June 25.

Locals were shocked when the man held the dog in the air by the scruff of its neck while using the powerful jet washer to spray it.

After cleaning the cowering pooch, he dragged it back onto the motorcycle before driving away from the scene.

Onlooker Lin Wei was parked at the area when it happened.

She said: "Please don't do this to your dogs. It's not safe because the water pressure is strong. I hope he change the way he treats his dog.

‘’I felt sorry for the dog. It did not look happy about being treated like this.’’
