After 6 gold miners were tragically killed in a collapse in Buranga Village, Indonesia, the joint Search and Rescue (SAR) team was careful when evacuating the bodies from the collapsed mine land.

As of February 25 evening, 6 dead victims founded, one gold miner still being in search.

The search operation was temporarily suspended at 6 p.m and will resume Friday.

The gold mine collapsed on Wednesday evening (February 24), while the miners and residents were resting.

In footage filmed on Thursday 25 February, in Buranga Village, Parigi Moutong District, Central Sulawesi province, the joint Search and Rescue (SAR) team was careful when evacuating the bodies from the collapsed mine land.

As of evening, 6 dead victims founded, one gold miner still being in search.

Search operation was temporarily suspended at 6 p.m and resumed Friday morning.

The gold mine collapsed on Wednesday evening (February 24), while the miners and residents were resting.

The incident that suddenly occurred made the people at the location unable to run for life.

Police chief Parigi Moutong, Adjunct Senior Police Commissioner (AKBP) Andi Batara said, at the time of the incident there were 23 people at location, 16 of them survived, six died and one still in the search process.

"This area is an illegal mine or there is no permit. Currently we are focusing on finding and rescuing victims. Then we will carry out law enforcement," AKBP Andi Batara said.
