The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) Police seized 50 boxes of liquor in southern India's Andhra Pradesh on May 11. The incident took place in Panchalingala of Kurnool district.

A video witnessing the incident features a team of police officials recovering a huge stock of alcohol hidden inside the car in broad daylight. Following this, the cops assemble all the boxes in a row and place most of the bottles amid the road while the accused sits in front of them. Meanwhile, the authorities seized all the illicit items for further investigation.

Following the instruction of Kurnool District Superintendent of Police, Dr. Fakkirappa Kaginelli Ipius Gari, and SEB Additional Superintendent of Police, Gautami Sally Gari, a Honda city car approaching from Telangana was stopped and inspected at the check post near Panchalingala in the morning. Following this, the officials recovered 30 boxes of liquor from two accused, identified as Ediga Keshavaya and Boya Rambabu. Moreover, they bought it from Raichur in Karnataka while only Ediga was apprehended as he was the only one present in the car. The officials also confiscated 1920 tetra packets of Haywards Cheers Whisky brand, along with the 30 cases of liquor.

Shortly after this incident, a Toyota Etios was stopped by the SEB personnel near the check post and searched. However, the passengers fled the scene after leaving the car parked at Venkatadri Nagar near Kurnool Town Vigilance Office while the authorities seized 20 boxes of liquor from it. The car's owner was later identified as Gadiga Dilip, hailing from Pullur village in Telangana.

A total of 50 boxes, with 2736 liquor bottles, and two cars were seized by the officials. Moreover, one person has been arrested, while two others have absconded the scene. Furthermore, the team of officials comprised SEB Inspector, Sub-Inspector Shiv Prasad, Head Constable Khaza, Constable Gopal, and Special Police Officer named Sundar.
