Police in southern India's Andhra Pradesh state arrested 11 people, including six women, for smuggling cannabis on May 14.

The incident took place in the Kadapa district, as footage shows the smugglers with masks on their faces, apprehended by the cops in broad daylight.

Officers seized several bundles of marijuana concealed within "Kitkit" chocolate packs and stacked them in a row for public view along with cash and mobile phones taken from the suspects.

The Chinnachowk Police Station officials arrested a gang of 11 members who were involved in smuggling cannabis from Chintapalli in Visakhapatnam district to Kadapa district. Police seized 120 kg (264.5 lbs) of cannabis, a Tata Bolt car, Rs. 7,000 cash (USD 95), and five cell phones from their possession. Furthermore, the smugglers changed their route in Kadapa but were eventually caught by the authorities.
