Snake gets caught in fishnet in central India, rescued
A snake that was caught in a fishnet was rescued in central India's Chhattisgarh.
The incident took place in Anand Nagar village, Korba district on July 15.
Visuals showed two men trying to bring a snake out of the fish net. One of them was using a hook-like stick to remove the extra part of the net. They struggled for a long time before finally bringing the reptile out. The man held the long snake in his hand.
According to reports, the seven feet Dhaman snake was caught in a fish net. Locals tried to take it out but did not do so after listening to it hissing. A man named Saroj Kumar informed the rescue team about the same. Jitendra Sarathi sent his team member Rakesh Manikpuri to the spot for the rescue. On reaching the incident place, Rakesh started the rescue mission by slowly cutting the net.
After a long struggle, he was able to rescue the snake.
