A vigilant cop came to the aid of a woman who had slipped and fell into the gap between the train and platform in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

This incident happened at platform number three of Prayagraj Chheoki Junction on June 8.

Visuals showed the chilling moment when the woman passenger slipped and fell while getting down the train (22948). The horrific sight showed her slipping right into the gap between the train and the platform. She had held on to the train handle which perhaps saved her from doing down completely. The woman was then helped out of the space by constable Shashikant Kumar. Constable Ashraf Ali Khan also rushed to the spot and they ended up saving the lady.

According to a report, the woman was then sent for treatment by constable Satish Kumar Mishra. The woman was then admitted to the Akshay Vat hospital where she was being treated for injuries to her waist. The woman's husband Mangleshwar Nath Pandey reached the spot and thanked the RPF for saving his wife's life.
