Kind couple rescue owl tangled in garden net
This is the heartwarming moment a kind couple rescued an owl tangled in a garden net.
The man and woman were searching for their pet dog when they discovered the hapless bird stuck in the mesh in their backyard in Chiang Rai, Thailand, on July 7.
Footage shows the homeowner carefully removing the threads from the feathered creature's talons.
Moments later, he managed to untangle the net and released the avian back into the wild.
The animal reportedly did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
They speculated that since it was daytime, the owl might have struggled to see clearly and inadvertently flown into the netting set up by locals, leading to its unfortunate predicament.
Owls have a hard time seeing in daylight because their eyes are better adapted for low-light conditions, and their vision is compromised by bright light.
