Cape Coral, FL – Thanks to the swift action of Officer Bridge and Officer Hill, a man who tripped, hit his head, and fell into a canal on April 25th is alive and recovering.

The incident unfolded when the man lost his footing near the water’s edge. A quick-thinking woman, witnessing the emergency, grabbed onto the man's shirt and held him above the waterline, staying calm until help arrived. Officers Bridge and Hill wasted no time, pulling the man to safety and ensuring he received immediate medical attention. He was transported to the hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The Cape Coral Police Department extended heartfelt thanks to Officers Bridge and Hill for their dedication, as well as to the courageous bystander whose actions were instrumental in saving the man's life.
