SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. — Two South Brunswick Police officers are being hailed as heroes after rescuing an unconscious man from a burning vehicle early on November 9, 2025.

Officers Thomas Sites and Yash Shroff arrived at the scene of a crash to find the driver, a man in his 20s, trapped inside his vehicle as flames spread. Without hesitation, the officers smashed the car windows, unlocked the door, and pulled the man to safety.

Police said the driver survived thanks to the officers’ quick and decisive actions. The department released body-worn camera footage of the rescue, showcasing their bravery and commitment to saving lives.
