Four units of cars in Panorama Dua, Sitinjau Lauik, were dragged into the landslide on Friday, December 14, 2018, at around 10:40 a.m. WIB.

According to the Deputy Coordinator of the Semen Padang TRC Team, Masudi, the landslide dragged three units of mini buses and one bus unit.

"It was around 10:40 p.m. and we went straight to the location and saw the road was buried by landslides," he said.

According to him, there were four survivors and were taken to the M Djamil Padang Central General Hospital (RSUP).

"There were drivers who found four victims safe and immediately taken to the hospital," he said.

He said that he and the Padang BPBD until 01.30 West Indonesia Time were still unable to evacuate.

"We cannot do the evacuation with BPBD and SAR because it is hampered by congestion," he continued.

He said that his party was still waiting for heavy equipment to evacuate and search for victims who might be buried.

"The tool cannot go up because the road conditions are already met by the vehicle," he concluded.
