During a regular inspection at the Apgenco check-post, the cops stopped a Bolero approaching the road and recovered 540 kg (1190.5 lbs) of cannabis worth Rs. 1 crore (USD 1,34,750) from 17 bags.

They further apprehended the two smugglers, identified as Santosh Kumar and Ganapathinayak, for being involved in illegal trading. Moreover, the miscreants revealed that they were going to supply it in Telangana and nearby areas. Furthermore, an investigation into the matter is underway.
