A man in Pringsewu District, Lampung, was arrested after allegedly raping his two underage daughters. The perpetrator, Darmanto, reportedly consumed alcohol before committing the crime.

The Anti-Bandit Special Team (Tekab 308) from the Pagelaran Police Station in Pringsewu, Lampung, managed to capture Darmanto at his home located in Pekon Fajarmulya, North Pagelaran District, Pringsewu, Lampung. When the raid took place, the perpetrator was fast asleep and unaware of the presence of the officers. However, when he was about to be taken to the police car, the perpetrator's family attempted to obstruct the officers by shouting and crying hysterically.

After interrogation, the perpetrator admitted to all of his actions, namely raping his two daughters. He claimed that he could not resist his urge after seeing the beauty of his fourth-grade daughter while she was asleep. The perpetrator raped his first daughter while his wife was asleep. To deceive his family, he took his daughter and wife to a health center for treatment because of bleeding. This incident occurred in October 2019.

Moreover, the same thing happened again in November 2022, when the perpetrator rubbed his genitals against his second daughter's genitals while she was asleep. However, he was caught by his wife.

Pagelaran Police Chief, Iptu Hasbullloh, stated that this case was uncovered after receiving reports from the community. The police immediately conducted an investigation and arrested the perpetrator without any resistance. Currently, the perpetrator is detained at the Pagelaran Police Station with evidence as accountability for his actions. The case is still under further investigation.
