An angry resident took revenge on his noisy neighbour by leaving two huge snakes outside his door.

The disgruntled tenant sparked alarm when he let loose the two mammoth reptiles in the corridor of the condo in Bangkok on May 19.

Footage shows the scaly beasts - one python and a jet-black serpent - slithering across the tiled hallway toward the neighbour's door.

The snake owner claimed he was retaliating against his neighbour, who had two pet dogs that kept him awake by barking at night.

He said in the video: 'I am an animal lover. The room next door said that they love animals, so I also brought two pets.

‘Today I brought only two, but tomorrow I will have more because I could not bring a bigger one today.

‘Just watch, I will release them and fill the entire hallway.'

The vengeful resident reportedly held a grudge against his neighbour who had been keeping dogs for years despite the condo's no pet policy. He claimed the pooches were a nuisance as their barking and howling were often heard at ungodly hours.

He added he was driven to take matters into his own hands as his complaints to building management were allegedly ignored.

Following the incident, the condo owners fined both tenants 10,000 baht (230 GBP) and ordered them to remove their pets from the premises.

Arun Sakchai, one of the landlords, said: 'I own several properties and this has never happened before. They should have worked out the problems maturely. Letting snakes loose inside the building is dangerous and somebody could have been hurt.'
