Officer Troy Koski Retires After 35 Years of Service

YUBA CITY, Calif. — Officer Troy Koski completed his final radio call and officially retired from the Yuba City Police Department after 35 years of distinguished service to the community.

Koski’s career spanned multiple agencies, including the Sutter and Yuba County Sheriff’s Departments, the Marysville Police Department, and most recently, Yuba City Police. Known for his leadership, compassion, and integrity, Koski served in various roles including as a Homeless Liaison Officer and mentor to younger officers.

Joined by his wife, Heidi, and son, Spencer, for his final radio call, Koski was celebrated for his dedication to public safety and positive influence within local law enforcement.

Yuba City Police Department thanked Koski for his decades of service and extended best wishes for a healthy and fulfilling retirement.
