CENTENNIAL, Colo. — Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office investigators are seeking help identifying a woman who shattered the front door of Centennial Animal Services with a tire iron after trying to enter the closed facility.

Deputies responded to 7272 S. Eagle St. around 7 p.m. on June 27 and found the glass entryway destroyed. Surveillance video shows a woman arrive in a silver or gray four-door sedan with a dog on a leash. After knocking and pacing for nearly 30 minutes, she retrieved a tire iron from her trunk and struck the door until it broke. She attempted to enter but ultimately left without gaining access.

The damage is estimated between $8,000 and $10,000. The woman is described as white, 25 to 35 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, with dark blonde hair, wearing a pink shirt, black leggings, and sunglasses. She was accompanied by a light-colored Labrador mix. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Tip Line at 720-874-8477.
