Resident winds through flood on waveboard
A resident cruised through a flooded street riding on his waveboard.
Armel braved the deluge outside his home when the water had risen during typhoon Gaemi and rode his skateboard-type device to carve through it in Manila, the Philippines.
Footage shows Armel cruising through the muddy deluge smoothly. His friends watched from the side of the road, and he sat down on his board, being pushed by currents.
His friend Franz Danielle Datu said: 'We went outside to check the flood and take our motorcycles to a higher place. We had a bit of fun watching him despite the calamity.'
Typhoon Gaemi killed 22 in the Philippines after lashing through mainland Luzon for almost a week, intensifying monsoon rains. It headed to Taiwan, killing three people and injuring more than 200 when it made landfall.
