Tacoma, Washington Police Rescue Dog Stuck in Rocks at Local Park
TACOMA, Wash. — A Bernese mountain dog was rescued last week after getting stuck among rocks at Chinese Reconciliation Park, according to the Tacoma Police Department.
The dog had wandered away from home and ended up stranded on the wet shoreline rocks. Officers responded to the scene after hearing the dog’s barks for help and safely lifted it to safety.
Following the rescue, the dog was taken to the Humane Society, where it was later reunited with its owners.
The department shared the story in a lighthearted social media post told from the dog’s perspective, thanking officers for their quick and compassionate response.
