OKLAHOMA CITY — Deputies from the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects after recovering stolen property, fentanyl, and a firearm from a U-Haul parked near a recently burglarized home in Luther.

The investigation began last week when deputies responded to a reported burglary. A witness said stolen items had been loaded into a U-Haul truck. Just after midnight the following day, a deputy spotted a U-Haul parked in the grass across the street from the burglarized property.

Inside the truck, deputies found the stolen items as well as a quantity of fentanyl and a firearm. The suspects, identified as Kevyn Grissom and Melanie Inabnit, were taken into custody. Both face multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Body-worn camera footage from the responding deputies captured the search and arrests. One deputy was treated on scene with Narcan after potential exposure.
