9月6日，四川泸定地震后，甘孜特警队员赶赴现场展开救援。行至磨西镇与青岗坪交汇处时，湍急的流水拦住去路。一名队员通过溜索，徒手爬绳索过河，把架桥的工具带到对岸。渡河后，他与队友们就地取材，用树木在水面搭起一座简易木桥，为被困群众打通“生命通道”。当天，有数百人通过这座小桥，顺利转移到了安全地带。（Sichuan Luding Earthquake,China）
